Cherry Creek serves as one of Denver’s major commercial and retail centers. Offering an upscale indoor shopping mall and an outdoor shopping and dining district consisting of over 300 retailers along 1st, 2nd and 3rd Avenues from University Blvd. to Steel St. The Ross-Cherry Creek library is located within the neighborhood along with both the Manley and Pulaski Parks and the Cherry Creek Bike Path which travels behind the Cherry Creek Mall. The Cherry Creek North Shopping District hosts the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival and Films on Fillmore (summer). For reasons of location and amenities, the Cherry Creek neighborhood has and continues to be a very active and fun community and consequently a very desirable neighborhood to live, work and play.

The residential areas of Cherry Creek are comprised of single family detached and attached style homes, townhomes, condominiums, and mid to high rise apartment buildings. Much of the residential housing in Cherry Creek is comprised of a wide range of housing types, sizes and styles built from the 1880’s to present day. Much of the housing in Cherry Creek consists of newer construction of 2 and 3 story townhomes and attached single family homes built from the 90’s to present day. These newer builds have replaced a lot of the more modest homes that were built during the 40’s and 50’s.
